WorldCrafts and its local partners develop fair-trade businesses that provide sustainable income and offer eternal hope for impoverished people throughout the world.
WorldCrafts is committed to:
- Abiding by fair trade principles that specify fair wages and humane, voluntary working conditions for the artisans.
- Paying artisans a fair price that covers not only their costs, but also insures sustainable production.
- Helping artisans to maintain certain levels of product orders and investing in product development for long-term planning, enabling them to invest in the growth of their business.
- Providing resources for customers to host markets, resulting in greater sustainability for artisan groups. This allows individuals to have access to housing, education, medicine, and nutrition.
Each WorldCrafts product represents a life changed by the opportunity to earn an income with dignity and hear the offer of eternal hope.
