A Table Affair
It's as Simple as 1-2-3!

If your church traditionally conducts a fall festival, outreach fair, or tablescape event, why not suggest that a WorldCrafts table would make a meaningful addition to the experience?

1. Before

  • Coordinate with the church leaders who have organized the fall festival.
  • If your church is not planning such an event, consider hosting an open house, at either the church or in someone's home, using the A Table Affair theme.
  • Stage a WorldCrafts table combining products, as well as pictures and stories of the artisans. Consider ordering the Spring 12 Hostess Sample Set (H124116), or create your own collection to display/sell.
  • Provide light refreshments for those who drop by the WorldCrafts table. Party ideas and recipes are available under the Parties tab at WorldCrafts.org.
  • Print copies of the WorldCrafts promotional flyer (online) to hand out and order a small number of Fall catalogs to display (call 1-800-968-7301).
  • Print an order form or use one from a catalog.
  • Promote information about the event and the worthy cause of WorldCrafts.

    • 2. During

  • Welcome those who stop by the WorldCrafts table and explain the vision and mission of WorldCrafts.
  • Remind visitors to the table that the lives of WorldCrafts artisans are changed when we purchase their products.
  • Suggest that shopping in advance of the holiday season is always a good idea. WorldCrafts products are handmade, not mass-produced, so quantities are limited.
  • Take product orders on one order form.

    • 3. After

  • Collect payment and complete one order form. Important: Please send only one check for the total party order. Mail to P. O. Box 830711, Birmingham, AL 35283-0711.
  • If you bought some items in advance and they were not purchased at the event, return them, if you wish, to WorldCrafts for full credit. (Address: 100 Missy Ridge, Birmingham, AL 35242. You are responsible for shipping). Note, however, that the Spring Hostess Sample Set is not returnable.
